Purpose + People + Values
Your businesses' superpowers and higher profits lie within your purpose, your people, and your values.
Our lives were upended due to the global pandemic that shut down businesses and rocked our worlds in ways we’d never have been able to anticipate. Millions of people lost their jobs and women exited the workforce in droves. Then came the “Great Resignation” and the “Quiet Quit”, all in the midst of an impending recession, global political instability and war. No industry was spared - in fact, it’s harder than ever to attract and retain talent. Yet, some companies thrived beyond their wildest dreams. What was the reason that these companies were able to thrive and grow, while others languished?
The short answer: CULTURE.
Shaara will share stories and case studies from her new book, “The Conscious Workplace: Fortify Your Culture to Thrive in Any Crisis”, spotlighting high profile companies, clients and her own workplace experiences on the importance of workplace culture and how investing in people, purpose and values helps build a truly resilient and profitable business, no matter how large or small.
Key Takeaways:
1. Identify what culture is – and what it isn’t
2. Understanding the common types of workplace cultures
3. The mindset shift needed to move from a profits-focus to purpose-focus
4. Sustainable strategies for leaders to build an intentional, thriving workplace culture
