Rich Cober leads Gartner’s HR Executive Partner for Chief HR Officers global practice. Gartner for Chief HR Officers is an exclusive, membership-based organization of top HR leaders across industries. Member clients are equipped with and benefit from tools, insights and the partnership and consultation of a seasoned practitioner who has sat in a CHRO seat to provide a service experience that delivers exceptional business results. Before coming to Gartner, Rich was the CHRO of HITT Contracting, CRO at Microstrategy, held various HR executive roles at Marriott International, and was a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. Rich earned his Ph.D. from The University of Akron and has been a leader focused on building world-class talent management programs and processes to support business success throughout his career. He lives in Northern Virginia with his wife, two daughters, and family labradoodle.
