Kate Donn is a talent strategist with 10+ years’ experience creating leading-edge talent solutions at Deloitte. Her experience building and implementing innovative talent management and employee engagement programs is complemented by 10+ years of financial management experience. Kate is a skilled cross-functional leader with a balanced focus on employee experience and the bottom line. Widely recognized as a catalyst for change, Kate promotes a culture of respect, diversity and inclusion, and employee empowerment.
Dedicating her career to the government contracting space, Kate has worked at manufacturing and professional services firms, including General Dynamics, Accenture, BearingPoint and Deloitte. She serves as the Treasurer on the Executive Board of the HR Leadership Forum and she is an active member in the HR Alliance and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) national and local DC chapter. Her philanthropic involvements include serving as Secretary on the Executive Board of Calvary Women’s Services and as a talent management “Skillanthropist” with the Business Council for Peace.
Kate received an MBA from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Oakland University. She is credentialed by the Society for Human Resource Management as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). She lives in Washington, DC with her husband and dog, Vince. In her free time, she enjoys travelling abroad, running in the Capitol Hill neighborhoods and taking pilates at [solidcore].
